Cheers, KeikaSOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo, I'm finally back in tha Hammer and don't know what's been up in this city for the last 4 yrs... could someone let me kno on where there's trance or jungle parties? i hear LUSH and another club on King william have their nites but not 100% sure..
Also, if U r a Hamilton TA then plz post n let me kno who u r! tnx!!! |

What's happening.
Yeah, lush is getting alot of buzz on saturday nights.
Once in a while, Hamilton will get some GREAT breaks acts and some GREAT progressive acts.
DJ Annalyze out of Rochester was up playing at Copper Lounge, and she's such a good breaks DJ.
Behrouz is playing at Fever (believe it or not) on a Saturday (BELIEVE IT OR NOT), so that'd be interesting to see (May 21st)
Anyways, I may be hitting lush this saturday.

What's going on in Hamilton?
I hear the steel business is picking up, Lakeport beer is flowing and if you go to the top of the hill ("mountain" as locals call it) you can see the bridge (if the steel smog isn't too thick). |

dj_baby_tenshi: Welcome back to the hammer. Definitely check out Lush on a saturday. Deko-ze, Sydney Blue, Addy, and others are their rotating residents, and it's free before 12 if you're on guestlist, can't beat that in this town :D

Lush is happening every Saturday night if you're into house. As for Jungle and Trance, for the most part your out of luck with Trance, there really hasn't been any Trance there in ages. As for Jungle there's usaully an event once in awhile... you just have to check msg boards like Torontoraves.com to find out when they are, or check out Dr. Disk downtown to see if there's any flyers there for any events.
Round Table productions will throw parties about every 3 months too, which are all-ages (with a drinking area for the 19+), but there's Jungle, Trance (hard trance for most part), Hardcore, and hard Techno.
Also once a month Mr. Rogers has a techno event at the Absynth Lounge... good solid techno!!
Copper Lounge has breaks on friday nights and has a headliner once a month.
If you're looking for something to do on the longweekend (May 2-4), there's a party happening in Hess village at Doors Pub and Patio, which will have these DJ's playing:
(BOOTY)- Non-Chalante -Toronto
(BREAKS)-Easyline b2b -?- -Hamilton
(UK Hard House)-Kurly vs. Bionix -Hamilton
(TECHNO)-Pash -Toronto/Hamilton
(JUNGLE/DRUM AND BASS)-Furious b2b Sean C -Hamilton
that's 19+ and it's free to, so you can't go wrong with that!
I think that's pretty much it for Hamilton. No Trance at all. |

| ^^^^ that would be me!! I was there today, and it smelt like a combo of cat pee, poop, and garbage. eww! I couldnt handle it! I've been there a couple times before and it didnt smell like that! I want to puke! |
