Well not my top 3, but first three that come straight to mind:
Tangerine Dream - Sequent C
Global Communication - 14:31
Dead Can Dance - The Host of Seraphim
Although there is another song of DCD's Serpent's Egg that I like better, but cannot remember the name.

I know this is down to personal opinion but I also think Glory Box and Teardrop are some way off being those artists best songs - But I do love every song by Portishead & Massive Attack.

A top 3 list is perfect. First, who has ever heard of top 4, that's just ridiculous. With a Top 5, you start to get songs you may include some days and others you wouldn't. With top 3, you really gotta pick you all time favorites.
While I believe Portishead has better tracks, Glory Box really captures a perfect mood for me with the slow strings, guitar, and lyrics, perfect down tempo. |
