This mix is definitely in the top 5 of my collection.
That Kosmas Epsilon joint on disc 2 is out this world cuz!!!
Some of the disc is a little too progressive, but the rest is straight carnage!! Awesome CD.
And the CD release party set he threw down in Edmonton was 100% devestation!!! |

| He tore the roof off in Calgary; hopefully Vancouver will get there chance to see him so I can go twice... he played maybe 2 songs top off this compilation though. I'm pretty Nick informed and he played alot of stuff from his flex set! |

| I like disc 2 better because it's more upbeat... I was bit dissapointed with disc 1 but I should've expected chill stuff from Nick. I think it will grow on me though. |

GU is REALLY back on track this year. Miami and now Shanghai... not to mention Fundacion.
I love both discs on this album about equally, which is rare (but good). I think this immediately ranks up in my top 3 or 4 GU compilations of all time. Imo it's better than Reykjavik, so I suppose this is hands down my favorite Nick Warren album.
Disc 1 kicks off superbly with the Wisternoffs' Fat Cat Track, nice and downtempo, but breezy and happy as well. The highlights for me were track 3: Alex Stealthy - Conversations, and Track 11: Lustral - Solace. Thoroughly enjoyable summery mix.
Disc 2 is a lot more bangin', but the fluxes in energy give it an ebb and flow that I like. Morozov - Fly Guitar is incredible (best track on the album, in my opinion), but the way he backs down for Come To Me and then pushes back up again for Hardfloor and Kosmas is awesome.
Both discs are going to stay in my cd player for quite some time. Looks like I don't need any new music for awhile -- I can finally save a little money!
Phenomenal release. What's GU have in store next? |

hehe cool =). The salesman asked me what version I wanted to buy: the normal cd size, or the other format (dubble width). Not really practical to store, but it's so original and cool. I like how the GU guys always spend much attention to such things (text about the area, interviews, pretty pictures). |
