| Just heard CD2 a week ago. It has some fantastic tunes (Your Touch, Grace and Blendbrank to mention some), but as a whole it simply doesn't work. Too much loss of energy and badly placed tunes. I mean, following up Acperience with a Kosmas Epsilon-track? :wtf: It seems that Nick has been too occupied with showing off new talent to remember structuring it all properly. Hopefully I'll have more luck with CD1. |

| Your kidding me... maybe you need to listen to it again or something coz I've become pretty used to this compilation and it still hasn't let me down!!:eyes: |

CD 1 is better than CD 2
I love the flow on CD 1... very deep and building all the time... CD 2 was a bit of a let down... turns into fluf after a while  |

agreed, unresolute pad-laden nonsense at the end of disc 2 that I wish would go somewhere.
I can't agree with that other poster about Acperience into the Epsilon ditty, though...the seamlessness of said transition is second-to-none. |

CD1 works better as a whole. Unfortunately, the tunes do close to nothing for me, apart from BCML and Alex Stealthy.
And you can mix Acperience with Kosmas Epsilon as smoothly as you like, it's still going to be a massive letdown both in terms of tension and energy when the Epsilon track is such a big bag of fluff. What's even more strange is that the Marcel Schönbrunn-track he plays right after Kosmas would have done the job quite nicely as a follow up to Acperience :conf: |

I got Murat Uncuoglu - Flame off iTunes, and I really like that track.
Not sure much of the album appeals to me though, especially after GU27 |

| If this is even half as goood as Reykjavik is, it will still be one of the better albums of the year. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy! |

I suppose, maybe you would have been happier had he switched the 2 trax, the fluffier leading into the grittier...anyway, this is getting too anal; it's not worth picking out every little detail of the mix to the point of excess. I also get tired of hearing how one claims they themselves would compose a mixset differently than the DJ who's done the deed, it's easy to be an armchair DJ. I'll be honest and admit to not remembering the ditty after Epsilon's...and leave it at that.:wtf: |
