Not your "fav producers of allll time", but who you think is good on a consistent basis. I like some of Tiësto's productions, I just think he's completely inconsistent. |

i don't know about you but an artist becomes a favourite to me if he consistantly puts out quality stuff therefore obviously i'm going to name favourites and not a dj that i know nothing about. |

nevertheless, if that's what you want, the thread is largely useless. you think tiesto is inconsistent, and someone else thinks he's consistent. you can't both be right. therefore, what is the point? to see what people's tastes are like. and what better way than to make a thread like this, where everyone will put their favorite producers as the most consistent, and most likely their most hated producers as the least consistent. |

bah, if you just don't get it, then don't post, that simple.
anyways, how about some intelligent responses that aren't "this is what everyone else's thinks so I'll post that". |

It is a matter of taste. If I hate half the stuff an artist puts out and I love the other half then I would consider them inconsistant. If one of my friends loves or hates everything the person puts out then that makes them consistant.
So which one of us would be right then? |

no, i distinguish between who others think is consistent and who i think is consistent. but i choose to nominate who is generally agreed upon to be the least/most consistent in each case because i'm trying to do what krysta said...oh yeah, make some "intelligent responses"
and i get it. probably the only one who gets it so far. |

The most inconsistent would have to be The Chemical Brothers. They either make solid gold or utterly disposable filler, with hardly any middle ground.
