r u mad .... this mother****** glazer has now put the club into high debts meaning our paltry transfer budget becomes even tighter besides that he has no knowledge about the club and has never been to a united game before ... this is not a good sign for the club which is the reason so many of the clubs supporters are against the move ....this caught me by total shock when i woke up in the morning ... never saw it coming ... hopefully it wont work out but thats a far call .... some major testing times ahead for united ... hes probably going to sack the entire board including david gill since they were opposed to the takeover and probably put his stupid tampa bay bucaneers workforce in charge ....very upsetting news

How did it catch you by shock. He had a deadline decision if he was gonna bid for it and it was coming up so he bidded. Anyways sucks if your a Man U fan get ready for high ticket prices major marketing everywhere for the next 10 years to help Glazer get payed off.

In their lust for profit, Americans like Glazer only ruin things. Actually, Americans just ruin things period. Look at what they've done to hockey! This is why I hope proper football always coasts under the radar in the US. Let them have their ty "football" and basketball and their obsession with college sports (which i'll never understand).

That said, it would be nice to see Man U go in the tank for awhile and let other teams have a go. But I just don't like to see Yanks sweeping into English football like this. Give them an inch and they'll take the whole damn sport.

ever since the deadline had been announced things had been real quiet so id expect atleast an indication tht he had the money ready and was going to launch a bid ... yea ticket prices are going to go through the roof and I dont know if plans to expand the statdium will go ahead .... this is not a good sign for british football... giggs, ferdinand and a lot of other top players opposed the takeover and it will be intersting to see how glazer convinces them hes the right man that is if he doesnt give them the boot as he is so accustomed to doing ... this could not have happened at a worse time for us ... the clubs form has been dismal of late .... ferdinand still has not signed a contract with us and given that he was against the takeover, i dont know if he will now ... i guess the sayings true - when it rains it pours...

The stadium expansion has already been aproved and will start in 2 weeks. Tickets and the name of Manchester United will be everywhere but I think that Glazer knows he needs to sign his players to new contracts and bring in new players to compete with Chelsea and Arsenal otherwise he will lose more money than he thinks

This was always bound to happen seeing that Manchester United is a publicly incorporated company. In the world of business, passion and allegiance mean nothing.

Glazer is no Abromovich. He has nothing to offer but debt and an allegedly better way of running things. Someone ought to tell him that the Premier League is not the NFL where no team gets relegated. Might have been a little technicality he missed in all the commotion.

Kytracid
This is the beginning of the end for Manchester United.

If Glazer takes over, expect Machester United to get relegated within the next 5-10 years.

There are alot of people at fault for what went wrong with the NHL...so lets not blame just the americans .having a product that can't draw revenue from t.v. and players who want an unreasonable amount to watch a bunch of guys grab and clutch each other instead of going to the international faster paced rules....but now back to the topic...i am surprised the old kook is gonna go through with this purchase...i have a feeling he will be selling the tampa bay Bucs american football franchise
