Yeah dude, that's good old 90FM studios... definitely a cool environment to spin in, if you can get the monitors working right that is...

The locals called it the "Victory Over America" palace - named so because neither was completed. It's located in Baghdad, close to the airport. Don't ask for street directions because I haven't a clue anymore.
It took a couple bomb hits (I have a picture near one of the points of impact). Picture's not very good because the place was dark inside. Interesting architecture and marble *every*where. The coolest part was wandering down in the bunker underneath...pure creepy darkness.
BTW, I'm just a truck driver, transportation. I had no hand in taking or securing the place...don't want to take any credit away from the real warfighters. They sure do know how to mess a place up when it needs it, though ;)
PS - I want all those CD's. |
