Review of Spundae 5/14/05

WOW OH WOW!!!! What a night.
The Heaven crew in the back room blew the roof off the back room last night. Freakin amazing you guys. I think this definitely proves that you should have a monthly residence there.
When I came in, I was catching the end of DJ Raoul's set, very good; high energy! One of my favorites he dropped:
JOOF vs. Christopher Lawrence - Attention :crazy:
Bob layed down a great set also, very good energy; I noticed by this point the room was packed, everyone having such a great time!:D
THEN!!!! In comes DJ KRISTINA SKY - :crazy: :eyes: :eyes: :happy2:
All I have to say is WOW!!!! She had the place going off! Excellent!:D Couldn't stop dancing; everyone with smiles on their faces! Perfect, thanks Kristina and thanks Spundae for having them there. I really hope this happens often; I cannnot wait to experience that again!
Also, what a blast hanging with the TA's, as ALWAYS!!!:D |

Best time I had at Spundae to date
Raoul - Awesome tunes, laying it nice and thick, Attention was my fav track for sure
Bob - Great job man, nice hanging out with you
Kristina - The best set Ive heard you play to date. You were on your game! Excellent job, crowd eating from your hand. Im impressed!
The night overall was wacky in a fun way hehe.
Main room - Hyper was laying down some great tunes but I was soo drawn to the back room so I didnt pay any time there besides doing a quick lap around the dancefloor for a few minutes at a time. |

| Amazing night. Haven't ever seen the backroom so packed before. Fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening. When you break it down, its was clubbing at its best. Friendly people having a blast listning to great music. |

| What a fun night!! Always a good time hanging out with Sweetcandy girl..and KittyCrush.. I would have to say that the back room was pretty amazing!! :) Raoul, Bob, and Kristina did an awsome job!! But once Donald Glaude came on..( WHY WAS HE SO LATE??) i was in the main room Dancing my ass OFF!!! :tongue3 I think i missed the kissing contest!! I was too busy busting a move on the dance floor!! Danced for 2 hours straight!!~!~ Good times...another great night at spundae!! Thank you to everyone! |

A freeway closure somewhere near Rosecrans is what made Donald Glaude late. Yup, he was on that freeway and apparently got stuck. :confused: He finally showed around 2:30 and WOW!!! He brought it on! I guess "better late than never." ;) |

No clue. It was one of those contests where they road was more important than the destination. I was one of the judges, mind. Its never easy to figure out which couple gets more flair points for attempting various difficult manuevers. :D |
