Software

AudioMulch (for all the complex drum programming and it just has features alot of apps dont)
NI Pro-53
FL Studio 5 (main sequencer/host)
Ableton Live (for anything live, and i use audio mulch for live stuff aswell)
Soundhack (just have decimate, binaural, morphfilter, etc. only the ones available for windows)
Absynth 3
NI FM7
Sonar 4 (for mastering and mirco-editing)
Baby Jesus

naw kidding about the last one, but thats what i mainly use for software. i have so many more ing VSTi's but i just dont use them as much. i have countless effects other than the ones i listed already, aswell. btw, i havnt played live, ive just gone out of the way to teach myself to do alot of sometimes drastic improvisation so if the time ever came, it wouldnt just be mindless play-back of songs, but a near-improvisational preformance. at least thats what im getting at :D

Hardware
Clavia Nord Rack 3
Edirol PCR-30
some custom built PC with XP that my dad built himself. no clue what its running other than that.
Some phat moniters my dad got from his studio
various effects pedals for noise creating fun! (i do ALOT of experimention...my ears are nearly gone from all the sudden blasts of high-octave feedback onslaughts...ouch)

thats at Home. my dad is a pro studio engineer, sound editor, along side many other musical things, so i just reap all the benefits that come my way: getting to use all the gear they have at his studio (and sometimes bringing it home. the monitors and nord rack came from the studio), which is all expensive pro audio . RACKS AND RACKS And racks and racks...

Propellerhead's Reason

www.propellerheads.se

The program...interface...all of it, it is just way to limiting and its basicly a very frustration program to work with. Ive used it for odds and ends, and certain sounds that I could create that were pretty much unique to that software, but thats where it ends. I hate the piano roll, the sequencer, the layout, the limits...it goes on. I personally dont like it. Alot of people say the same stuff with Fruity Loops, but it works the best for me. In the end it all comes down to personal preferance. Alot of people seem to really like Reason. I've used it through and through and have only been left frustrated. Just IMO...

But I have to admit, I purchased Reason 3 and the Combinator is brilliant!

1st) Yes I have all the CD keys and stuff
2nd) Logic Pro and Xpress? Well I just didn't feel like buying a copy of the LPro for each computer (Keep in mind I have 4 Macs) wayyy cheaper to buy a copy of Lxpress for the other 2 compu.
