here's mine. definately gets the job done:
computer:
atholon 1.8gig with 1gig ram
speakers:
event tr6 (ppl seriously, make sure you get monitors, you can't produce dick on hifi speakers)
soundcard:
echo mia midi
keyboards:
M-audio Radium 61
cheap casio as backup controller
software (in this day and age i have no interest in going hardware)
East West Symphonic Orchestra Silver (the best library ever!!!)
Spectrasonics Atmosphere
Vanguard
z3ta
v-station
kontakt (don't leave home without it)
Cubase SX 2
and that my friends is all you need to produce quality music. the software is worth prolly, $900CDN and cubase $800CDN :sadgreen: cubase scrapes you clean, but in total with all the software pieces i own, cause i'm missing a ton, you're prolly looking at under $5g's, the cost of a worstation prolly, and seriously, i wouldn't trade my setup for any workstation, east west symphonic orchestra kicks the ass of any workstation ochrestral instruments. and so on. |
