i also found something else in case it may help.
i went to
MY COMPUTER/ C-drive
there were 2 different folder that shouldn't have been there.
1- windows icon- folder
(do not click or it will trigger the virus. causing a whole bunch of IM windows to pop up & send the "THATS cool" message)
2- A tmp folder/icon. (if u can't delete it, rename it then delete)
3- also for those who have this. In the WINDOW NT folder. the ACCESSORIES folder also was infected. i came across this & clicked on it & BAM it triggered it again. so i deleted the folder but still have a problem.
Not sure if everyone is having the same problem or coming across the same situation but i figured any little info could help.
one more thing.
if u run the task mangager
u might see 1 or 2 applications running
it says PROJECT 1- i ended task & then i was able to delete the windows icon folder in the C: |

now of course some files are not going to be the same size as mine so dont worry about that... AND if you have a computer from DELL, HP, Compaq, Alienware, or whatever.... you will of course have some more folders because they install a bunch of .. i built my pc and i just recently formatted so these are the files from there by default. just post if you think something is suspicious before deleting it because it might cause more harm than good, say if you delete program files! lol, then u just go ahead and format cuz theres no correcting that folder :D |
