last night i was chilling with one of my friends who recently got out of jail and some of his jail stories just cracked me up.
he was telling me how he learned that there is a 1-800-dial-a-killer number, you need to have a pin number and everything to use this service.
haha i thought like that only existed in the movies.

A penitentiary or detention centre?....Cuz detention centres are like the little league of the judicial system :D

I heard of a guy that was in a detention centre for armed robbery. He said he got caught because he wasn't wearing a mask....And he wasn't wearing a mask because he said it's an extra 5 years...

It's true what they say. Jails are really just a place for criminals to congregate.

detention centres are a cakewalk for alot of people, yeah you do the crime but these detention centres are pretty pimped out. I knew somebody that stayed in the Lindsay Detention Centre and he told me that they have fully-equipped TVs, full work-out areas, 3 meals a day, the whole nine yards. Man if I was ever homeless I'd steal a car or something get caught and live it up for a year or two here. (Not saying I actually would though, be homeless that is)

That is totally true. I also knew a couple of people who spent time in detention centres.. they said it wasn't bad at all.. and when they got out, they were massive from just working out all the time!

But that is much different from an actual prison. That isn't so fun from what I have heard from a few people!

The worst was when I was in college for Law & Security for my Criminology class I had to go visit Maplehurst in Milton. When you first walk in, they hold you between two metal doors, close the one behind you then open up the one in front so that no one can escape. I visited the minimum side of the prison (they wouldn't allow us to go to the maximum side) and all the prisoners were walking around freely.... it was kind of freaky at first cuz you didn't know what the guy beside you was in for and he was only arms length away from you. :nervous:

After walking around though I got used to it and it didn't bother me so much and none of them would dare try anything.. they just tried to talk to you and especially being a female.. haha.. they were all over that.. scary I tell ya.

That is my only run-in with actually being inside a prison.. visiting is a completely different story. It is pretty interesting though!

You would be amazed how much organized crime there is in the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener, and Guelph areas. If anyone thinks the Mob is long gone they are in for a shcok. I have a buddy who's uncle is in the Italian Mob.....I deal with a contractor who has mob connections. They tell me the mob runs so many businesses in the GTA that you can't walk a block without going past one. Makes me wonder how many clubs we go to that are mob run.

And on top of that we have to worry about terrorists as well.
