I used to complain about working in retail, being on my feet all day and dealing with immature customers..... and now I work in a boring office.
I sit on my ass all day, my shoulders, back, neck, and eye balls hurt, and I'm bored out of my mind, browsing the internet all day.
Before I know it, I'm gonna gain weight in all the wrong places. :( |

haha, you're not allowed to complain until you've worked at a call center of any sort...
i was working as a technical assistant at a computer sales store, and i was the one that had to test all the returned merchandise to make sure it was defective, and then call the customers that were too stupid to follow proper installation directions, and tell them that they're gonna be charged shipping to have their properly working product sent back to them.......the things that people say when they get anrgy.......sheesh!! |

Poor Julia! I've been sitting on my ass for a very long time (work only) and I don't have those aches anymore. There are exercises for those that have "sit on ass all day" jobs.
If you gain weight, it's only because you're eating more and NOT getting off your ass to move around a bit. :stongue:
Many co-workers walk every morning about 1 mile and some also do it in the afternoon. |

| I worked in a call center type place as a Quailty Assurance agent. I monitored your call for "training purposes". The agents that actually took the calls all hated us, even though we tried to help them out as much as they could. My new job pretty cool. I got a new desk and a brand new computer. So far i sat at my desk 1 time and have yet to log on to my computer. Teaching is actually pretty sweet. The only thing is that i get made fun of since of the students are older then me. o well. |

Haha, that is sooo true! Try working at the call center for the Dept. of Homeland Security for the Transportaion Security Administration!! Hahaha now THAT is hell, people calling to bitch and complain b/c the agents "confiscated a diamond ring/prada purse/money from their checked luggage" Try dealing with that!!
I was transferred to their correspondence dept. a year ago and i LOVE sitting on my ass and writting letters all day versus hearing those damn people bitch and moan about stupid such as their luggage not being "packed JUST the way they packed it " or b/c they had to take off their shoes! I swear some people bitch and complain about the STUPIDEST things!!! |
