you are preaching to the chior buddy, mattivi has defended tiesto more then anyone else in here.( well atleast that i have seen). and for him to be speakin like that you know things have gotten pretty bad. i think that things with tiesto are gettin a little wierd right now. he is just gettin to big but, is that really his fault. he is the one the got me into EDM and trance so there will always be awsome memories of the old tiesto.
by the way i would take the money if i was in his place. |

no ones hating, some of us are stating INTELLIGENT arguments here.. not the proverbial "you guys are just hating" garbage defense like you. if i was a dj and i was big, i would like to think i would approach things differently. ie concentrateing on my dj skills; ie mixing and track selection, two things that have slowly eroded with tiesto. instead of just trying to aggressivly increase my fanbase and popularity, by putting out poor albums like "JUST BE", which is garbage compared to "IN MY MEMORY", and ISOS4 which for a mixtape is almost shameful, laughable, and a disgrace to the predecessors in that seris. doing tours which consist of 20 gigs in 25days, and not bringing my all to each show, hanging off girls, getting drunk, and overall just not acting like i am concentrating on my set, well unless he is miami. i would like think i would remain somewhat humble, not aleinate my original true fans, and that i would stay grounded to the fact that i am first and formost a "DJ" and not a backstreet boy. tiesto has lost perspective and thats it. personally i like the fact that edm is relatively underground music, and i think this concert seris is just exploitive and incongruent to the scene. he doesnt want to bring the music to the masses he just wants to see how popular he can get, because if he really loved being a edm "DJ" he would not be doing what he is. just my opinion, but leave edm for the clubs and festivals, and leave mickey mouse to disneyworld, and aerosmith to the concerts. and thats a memo. |

and I agree though, good call. It's good people are beginning to see that he's becoming so mainstream...he left his roots some time ago but this sets everything over the top.

whatever happened to good ol' clubbing with DJ's. Fact is that "concerts" have NEVER been in the EDM scene. pop artist do "concerts" as well as hip hop and so on.
EDM is all technology.
the next thing you'll see is tiesto spinning with a live band in the back and a mariachi.
when it comes to this. no change. CLUBS/OUTDOOR EVENTS.
that's a party. that is EDM. |
