ok well i watched it last night...it was definitely a good movie, a little too busy (filming style) but i was able to appreciate it still. and i don't think i'd ever want to see it again either.
i have to say i felt the most sympathy for Sara Goldfarb:(
very ed up movie, great acting, i was especially impressed with marlon wayans...i called the part about leto's arm being amputated, i had a feeling it was going to lead to that, but in the back of my mind i kept thinking, "NO! he CAN'T let it get THAT bad"

I had a tough time falling asleep after this movie. It's definately one of my favourites.

were you dissappointed because it didn't have that Aronofsky style to it, or because it was bad? You gotta remember that he directed both Pi and Requiem, and on Below he was the producer and writer, so his influences were towards something else ;) |

yea i had a hard time falling asleep myself. it made me anxious. when it ended, i was like, "alrighty then! i'm gonna have nightmares tonight" lol
it was soo creepy and i couldn't believe the poor mother ended up in a mental institution from diet pills:wtf: it was just so freaky because of the filming technique they used whenever they were focusing on the mother...kinda trippy. i'm sure that's how she was perceiving everything all tweeked out on uppers, grinding her teeth n stuff.
and the whole part where jennifer goes to that sex party was REALLY disturbing...i almost couldn't watch it.
yea the ending started to get a little freaky for me. it definitely makes drug users a little sketchy.
i've never done heroin and never had the desire to, so i guess it's hard for me to understand, but i just cannot fathom the idea of losing all control of my life and losing my job, and pawning to get money for a quick high...i mean christ, talk about becoming a waste of space in this world. i've done my share of drugs and i've lost control a few times (losing control in my eyes is like spending money on drugs that i shouldn't have, or got high on a work night and called in sick the next day), but that's the extent of my habit getting out of control..anything worse than that, i dunno...i think maybe rehab would be the next step if i lost my job to drugs or something, or started stealing from my own family or something ty like that.
i've read stories about successful people losing their lives to meth habits n stuff. i have an addictive personality although i've kept it under wraps lately and i think i'm growing out of it, but i just can't imagine becoming a junkie or anything like that. it's like get a ing grip! |

that part really disturbed me as well. i feel terrible for women like that...especially one as beautiful as jennifer. |

well yeah i must admit that's my favorite part too...but i just mean the reality of women stooping to that level because of a dependance on something...kinda sucks.
but man i wish i had a junkie whore like connelly...my gawd she's hot... |
