My dad like Its time to burn when that was over here, he'd drive like a boyracer :stongue: |
no, more like lexicon avenue remixes and junkiexl...
she really likes G&D too, she always loved all their remixes when they used to have party 93.1 down here. she was so impressed that i knew dave dresden and hung out with him a few times...it was so funny, their song would come on and she'd be like, "hey this is your friend's song isn't? wow that's so cool" lol |

| Not surprising really. My parents actually enjoy a lot of the music I do, especially anything with a slower down-beat. I burned them a couple Chillout in Paris CDs, they're loving them. |

| I think it's really good when parents get into the music because it shows that they have some understanding of it. If you think about it, parents with kids who don't listen to EDM probably think it's purely music that teenagers do ecstasy to due to all the Primetime shows about ecstasy and those evil raves with EDM playing in the background the whole time. |

thats so cool that your parents will even give it a try and for some to like it is even cooler.
my dad is a talk radio man so he wouldnt even try it and my mom well she MIGHT be a little more open minded if I let her listen. Dont live with the parentals anymore so there is really no opportunity for me to play it for them. |

I was thinking " oh wow how interesting " slowly followed by " crap I don't want to burn any cds " ( that's one thing I don't like doing for some reason ) :stongue:

Remember that chillout is just pr0n music well produced.
Oh wait that's got nothing to do with your parents liking it or does it :conf: :toothless |

i definitely get my passion for music from my mom...she said when she was my age, music was her escape. she used to smoke weed and have pink floyd on and she'd paint these awesome paintings...hahah
she even told me about a couple times when she was tripping on acid and she made these killer paintings that she was so impressed with, but her mom threw them out because she knew my mom was doing drugs and that they were drug-induced pictures..haha what a bitch! i would have loved to see them.
she was really big on playing music for me when she was pregnant with me too. she really wanted me to be into music like she was...guess it worked:p
my dad likes music too, but not like my mom and i do... |
