another relationship thread - man problems

Hi, help me out guys.. and girls...
I've been liking this guy for 2 months now, and 2 weeks ago, he finally got drunk and made his move. Except that after that, he kind of stopped talking to me.. then he started again.. and then he went on and on about how we should hang out and stuff now that school is over and how he's gonna call me sometime soon and stuff, but the guy is horrible at taking any initiative at all.
So, I ran into his the other night at a bar where I was with his best friend, and spent the whole with his best friend because I guess he didnt really want to be around me.. I dont know... but towards the end of the night, he said that there is "no chemistry" since a certain date.
Since today is the last day that I will ever see him again unless something happens, do I go for it anyway.. considering that there are were other factors involved, like his best friend and lots of booze and i really want him.. or do i take this as a sign to leave him alone? |

since you are a girl, you can pretty much throw ur self at him, 95% says hell go for it, it all depends, whaat you want from him, how you want it to end, this is a toughie,
if i knew it wasnt gonna work out, i wouldnt pursue fourther and disance myself like hes doing, but thats my persoanlity with women. |

from your story it sounds like he is just bad with girls, if you really want it to work you have to work at it. Some guys, even though they like a girl, will take the easy way out and avoid unless you make it clear and easy for them.
So if you like him lay it out. but don't move toooooo quickly, or youll scare him off. |

Honey you just answered ur own question, think about it if he doesnt take initiative now and he isnt even with you just shows you the type of guy you would end up with. DONT BOTHER! Guys mostly take initiative in the begining and slack off later, but if he isnt showing initiative now its a really bad sign and he probably never will. Do you really want to end up in a relationship where you have to do all the work.
If you do something to try to spark some intrest he may think you are depserate (not saying you are) and use you. Not a good plan either.
Get someone to chase you not the other way around. That will show you how motivated they are to have you. |

| Hmm, sounds questionable. Well, if you don't try, at least somewhat, you'll always wonder, but don't just prostrate yourself in front of him. We all like to think that the guy always takes the first initiative, but we all know that it's not always the case. |

ive done this to girls before I have to admit >< I drink a bit and get into it, and then realize suddenly that I really dont actually like the person and stop from going further and making a separation painful..more painful...I usually distance myself for a while hoping she'll get the point because its harsh saying "I dont like you any more"
If he wants something to happen, he'll contact you. I suggest forgetting about it, find someone else. |
