Honestly i would love to see what type of player Duncan would be like if he played angry.he just never seems to play with passion...just a machine out there with perfect fundamentals |
this is just stupid...
i dont believe theres a player out there who has more passion and feel for the game than duncan...just because he doesnt celebrate a block and a dunk the way a garnett or a bryant does doesnt mean he's not playing with passion, it just means he's not showing it and he doesnt care or need to...
just check how he plays injured throughout the playoffs, how he's constantly hugging and talking to his teammates and how everything is about winning...
this guy wont be anything better playing angry, is just not his style...
after all he has won two rings, two mvps and several honors playing "without passion"? |

thanks eddie for the correction ..
maybe that's why detroit lost tonight .. i gave them the bad karma .. :wtf: ..
but no matter how "unemotional" timmy is, i still love the guy, and respect his abilities as one of the best pfs in the league right now .. he is right up there with kevin garnett .. no respect for this guy .. it's timmy and garnett and then there is a big gap inbetween ..
chris webber "used" to be the elite, until he started his "i give up during the playoffs" nature .. how many times did he give up on sacramento when they needed him the most when the kings were battling the lakers .. the kings should have had at least 1, or maybe 2 rings right now, if it wasn't for webber .. |

C- Web still a disorder from what he did against North carolina in the title game.chokesolitis, great regular season player but not in playoffs, so he's ...well...regular
about Duncan, always liked the guy, i dont believe players need to be over excited when theyre out there , some just dont need to be.But its great its great when ZO makes a big play and he gets excited and pumps up the crowd
so its good to have a little bit of both in the NBA, plus when Duncan does show some emotion (he does), its pretty funny |

| The suns are proving right now, that defense wins ball games. Amare should be ashamed of his defensive game against duncan in game 3. |

to add on my previous duncan comments, check this statement made by brent barry after game 3, which is in this exact same topic:
"So much is made of Tim not being too emotional, too demonstrative," Barry said. "But that's OK. Some guys lead by example. And Tim's certainly the guy we all look to." |

no sweep for the spurs...joe johnson sure came up big? could this be a start of another comeback? :toothless :stongue:
then again...had duncan nailed his free throws...the spurs would be in the finals right now |

i agree...
suns shot almost 60% from the field and the spurs shot under 50% from the foul line...and still it was a very close game...
dont expect any of this to happen again and spurs should close it in 5...
the goal wasnt to sweep, the goal is to get to the finals! |

man .. i saw a lot of questionable calls that were not called during that match .. but then again, you can never call any game 100% on the correct line .. there are bound to be mess ups by the refs .. they're only human .. hhahahaha ..
but the spurs missed a lot of free throws, and did not shoot the ball well .. however, they raped the suns on the boards, especially if duncan, mohammad, and horry each had at least 6 offensive rebounds .. that is sick .. you know the opposing team is having problems rebounding the ball if the team has 20+ offensive rebounds ..
but looking forward for the spurs to bounce back in game 5 .. |
