those 15 year olds (and there werent that many of them) will ensure that the scene is still around when you become the old guy with the pony tail who still wants to party.

not everyone can be 21

Fully agreed. Walter and Dennis played ing monstrous tunes The Judge disappointed like no other last night. I was hoping for some real uplifting tunes like I've heard in a bunch of his sets - but no, pure hardtrance. Way too hard for me.

Republik itself. Wow. Just wow. What an unbelievably great club. Nicest staff EVER, these people are just awesome. The lighting is magingnificent - Jayx1 and Aren, great job. Totally blew me away. The washrooms are the coolest ever, you just have to see them to believe it.

Anyway, agreeing with Jayx1, Walter Rosati and Dennis Hahn were the true star of the night, opening and closing, respectively. Bomb after bomb after bomb coming from Walter, and Dennis at the end of the night playing some Purple Room favourites (hah), notably Purple Haze - Adrenaline. You guys kicked ass, 10 times better than Jules, in my opinion. OS/2 played some pretty rad stuff as well, some crazy remix of Murder Was The Bass that nobody knew, but everybody wants.

To all the TAs out last night, great times in the drinking area for sure. Also, good to finally meet dj_baby_tenshi, RTT, Spider, and I think there were 2 others that I cannot remember right now, I'm sorry dudes :(

Also, many thanks to Dennis for putting me on his guestlist, even though it wasn't necessary - thanks to Walter and/or Ari, and/or Del :toocool: :toocool: :toocool:

Seeing him there last night and also one of the first people that i saw in there did not make for a good start.

He's not that old... I'd say early 30s.. Anyways, when I went to university he was the one that gave me (& others) our frosh week pep talk stuff introducing us to the school. I remember it because he basically said the best way to do it (graduate) is to not slack off during the week but reward yourself whenever possible on the weekends (partying). I pretty much stuck to that and in my 3rd year I met someone through a mutual friend that introduced me to the whole party scene and then later came TA and your opportunity to post your review.

man wat a night!!!!

came around 1am and jules was pumping it hard. good start to get me dancing but early into his set he had a couple mistakes and problems mixing...wouldnt expect it from and internation star...but i guess everyone has their bad days. his choice of tracks were ok sometimes but overall it wasnt trancey enough for me. o well. i kept waiting for fergie to get on but then my friend told me that he missed his flight and that he wasnt here. kinda dissappointed there but o well.

when dennis came on, i went nuts! this guy knows how to drop the top tracks one after the other. i just couldnt stop moving. every track was great. DENNIS YOU RULE!!

staff was nice when getting in. the washrooms are just wow. u could seriously party in there if u wanted to. the club itself is very nice looking with beautiful lights. nice meeting new TAs...and if i didnt meet you, i was the guy in the front, with the white TA shirt going nuts.

overall ill give it a 8/10
jules 6.5/10
dennis hahn 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously i cant imagine how some people mange to have fun when they are so hung up on stupid details...

its all about the music and who u go with. The only time i hate a crowd is when they are full of attitude. Otherwise i dont care who they are, if they are having fun and the music is good then its a good night. Im glad some people around here werent around during the rave/warehouse/underground club days. They would have completely ruined the vibe with their judgemental bull.

And for the record that guy in question looked like he was having the best time out of everyone. If more people partied like him this city would be a hell of a lot more fun.

Funny how no one even uses the word vibe or describes what it was like in any reviews anymore.

The only tune that I actually liked that Judge Jules dropped was No Faces meets Dave 202 - U Know What.

Carney - that is the song you were asking about.
