Israel in Europe?

I have always been thaugt in school that Israel lies in Asia. But here at tranceaddict it says Europe. Have Israel changed the location? someone please explain.
btw. Does this mean that the whole middle east lies in Europe? |

Israel lies exactly on the EUROPE-ASIA border, but although that geographically we are considered to be a part of asia, actually europe considers us an east-european country. We participate in UEFA CUP, UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, Euroleague (Basketball), we also participate in the Eurovision contest and we even win sometimes =)
And most important - our cities look like european cities, not like the arabs that sorround us.. |

I have to dissagree with that
israel is in ASIA
You might think that we are from europe but we aint the thing about
sport isnt meaning anything its because we cant come to those conutrys its too dengerous to us that why they let us "be" in europe
anoter thing that we arent close to europe! our country isnt that developed,nope we more close to 3th world then to europe that might ppls dissagree but i can give the answer only in hebrew (too damn hard)
so we aint europe ! |

מצטער אחי אתה טועה אנחנו לא בגביעי אסיה לא בגלל ש"מסוכן" לנו להיות במדינות האחרות, אנחנו בגביעי אירופה כי הם קיבלו אותנו ובכלל לא היססנו והלכנו לשם...

Mosh man seems to be the guys whos least influenced by israeli "propaganda" as id call the whole picture and ideologies taught to israelis by media school politis etc...
1. We aren't allowed to even ENTER certain asian(arab) countries
2. We hate them, they hate us
3. as for soccer, we've been playing a LOOONg time in the group with new zealand and australia, it took us till the mid 1990s till we were ALLOWEd to participate in european competitions (what u do not know is that AUSTRIA is one of the countires most caring for Israel, its them who helped us to get into UEFA)
4. Israel is not Europe, period.
Our mentality isnt theirs, our economy isnt theirs, social security system..of course this is all somehow connected to the war-situation but still..we're mainly living on american dollars..
5. we got great "heads" in our country though, expecially in terms of High Tech, (take Mirabilis for example, the guys inventing the divine ICQ)
6. stop underestimating "the arabs" in a generalizing way..
ever been to ANY arab country? Pkease dont answer with "Sinai" now ;)
and afghanistan has got nothing to do with ARABS, its a MUSLIM country, dont mix it .. |

come on guys stop the hewbrew jibberish. I want to know what you are writing so use english :(
about that Afghanistan part. I wonder how some people believe that Afghanistan is an arabic country. There are no arabs in afghanistan (except for the last few years arab terrorists), the afghan lanugage is nothing like the arabics, the afghans have a complete different way of seeing the world than the arabs.
I guess its only the uneducated ones that thinks that Afghanistan is an arabic country. |
