I dunno... I've seen people totally bash this tune, but I kinda like it...

I agree, the first time I heard "Serenity" on A State of Trance 195, I missed Armin's track announcement and I thought it was a mix of Adagio for Strings as well. I mean, I like Adagio, though Ferry's mix of the William Orbit's track is better than Tiesto's, but Armin's new track is a bit too similar to be considered a COMPLETELY new track IMO. It is kind of cool on the Sensation White trailer, what with all of the performance art that they are showing while playing parts of the track.
Do any of you with a better understanding of musical composition have a different opinion? |
