back to the topic, i'd say 9,999 listens for a particular track to max out your judgement. |

| i can usually tell in the first couple of listens whether or not the tune is good...really amazing tracks i usually like after the first listen... |

I just recently made use of my 5.1 surround sound card and 6 speaker system. Now that it's all working properly most songs sound amazing and crystal clear on the sound system so it's pretty good to judge it. |

| For me, it depends on what kind of song it is. There's some I'm hooked on and can identify immediately, some that take a few listens to before identifying and liking, and some that take a few listens to before identifying and not liking. |
