| Sven Vath went cuckoo a long time ago. |

| I think cocoon moves with the times, unlike a lot of other labels. Sure 1 or 2 years ago they were releasing techno records, but sven himself has almost completely stopped playing techno, thus why would his label release techno.;) |

| True, the label is moving with current times. You wouldnt expect Vath to start up an imprint just to release tunes by the likes of Ozgur Can, just because you think it doesnt follow suit in previous Cocoon releases. |

I must be unique because I've always admired the ideas of UR, basically like our or off and die mental attitude. On one hand, I think go ahead and change with the times for some labels but on the other hand, I think some should'nt change. I'm not dissing ozgur can here, I just never realized how far sven vath has lost it.
btw. for all your vath fans, EM from IBIZA from him in July. |

That's called a public misconception. |

| UR has never cared about the media or have they gone soft like all the other labels. |

Except when they licence out their music to be put on the soundtrack of a Playstation 2 game! :stongue: |

I heard that Jeff Mills helps finance UR with donations. I read it on Ellen Allien's site. :haha:
Mad Mike Banks must have needed cash to keep the lights on |

I'd hardly say sven has lost it. On the contrary i'd say he's doing rather well, he runs arguably the most successful night in ibiza which is just about to re-open for it's 6th season I believe, and he's just opened a multi-million pound club/restaurant in his home-town of frankfurt - the likes of, i've never seen before.
I think looking back he is one of those responsable for a lot of the trends you see in dance music, where some people like to stay in the one style and say the rest, others prefer to move with the times - I have a mutual respect for both parties, neither one could be classed as right or wrong. |

That's called being a business man. I don't think that's very relevant in the issue whether Sven has lost it or not (read: musically).
I liked Cocoon when it was a techno label. Now it's responsible for the likes of Roman Flügel - Gehts Noch. What a shame. |

| Yeah man, I don't even follow Cocoon. I meant he's off his rocker. He writes to space aliens using the power of his hair. He thinks his right hand and its five smelly generals are out to get him. You know, lost it. |
