I would GLADLY trade my Canadian passport for your French passport. I would be able to travel, live and work anywhere in the EU. I'd also be rid, once and for all, of this God-awful joke of a country called Canada (Soviet Canuckistan).
Yes you French and other continentals are infatuated with a destructive socialist idealogy... but at least you have a great culture (which will soon be destroyed by the invading Muslims, but that's another story).
Note that the Dominion of Canada was a great country at one time, but has been in decline since the late 1960's.... and particularly since 1982. |
Its a free world you dolt, whats stopping you from leaving Canada. I get the feeling you won't be missed too much, win win situation really-except for the country that you're going to immigrate to I guess. |

I dont understand why people hate the French so much...

Few people who have actually dealt with French people do, I guess. But their public face the last decade, Chirac, has embodied all the arrogance and selfishness that you could possibly imagine. And the French has re-elected him despite his bullying. So some of the disgust you feel for Chirac will carry over to the population at large. Same effect as with the Americans re-electing Bush.:) |

That's a pretty stupid reaction. the french only re-elected Chirac because they didn't want to have Jean-Marie Le Pen (fascist) for president. |

After having been so stupid not to vote in the first round of the election - basically voting for having the choice between Le Pen and Chirac. It's not as if God himself ordered you to chose between those two - it was a predictable result of your electoral system combined with indifference on behalf of the voters. |

I don't hear too often a French speaking against their country. And thus the bewilderment.
