ey, guys, check this song:
Immortal technique - The Causes of Death
it's rap - but trust me, not the usual "weed, money, cars, girls" rap - it's more like politics.....
Amazin to see how a rapper has so much information and uses it in a song!
one part:

I'm a big fan of Immortal Technique. I pretty much stopped listening to rap save for a few good artists and Technique is one of them.
If you like his stuff be sure to check out two of my favorite songs:
1. Dance With The Devil (not political but an insane story about one guy over a classic piano tune)
2. The 4th Branch (VERY political, very smart stuff)

| Yeah, I hate rap with a flaming passion! But I can still listen to Immortal Technique, he's in sick. Meaningful lyrics in rap are bascially non-existent these days, so he's a real breath of fresh air. |

Its just that commercial rap (or club rap) shouldnt represent what rap is.
