A fitting re-commencement to the thread,

Presently on TSN and Ch. 2 Nadel vs. Mathieu in a 3rd round match, 4th set.

Nadal has this in the bag again, no doubt!

Love watching this guy on clay! HOLY !

Only upset (disappointment) so far is Roddick going down... but honestly, I kind of expected it. Hes not too impressive these days IMO

Where are ya Vlad? LOL :toothless

^^^ i'm here!! *waves*

rodick had an injury, forced him out. he wouldn't have done anything anyways on clay.

ya i ended up seeing the 4th set. nadal came back 6-4 three str8. he looks good again. looks like he might repeat! 55 in a row now on clay, can anyone stop him? my boy was out yesterday to gaudio in a pretty tough match. could have gone either way.

hardenne vs myskina tomoro, should be a dandy!

my pred for final four: federer, nadal, davydenko, hewitt

Oh Justine will take down Myskina... her games not nearly as well rounded as Henin's...

But the KEY question is, will ing TSN of Ch. 2 COVER it... they've already said that tomrrow is "mostly" about teh Venus and Federer matches. (Even though Venus is ranked lower, 11th vs. 5th, and shes only on Court 1 :whip: :whip:  ing american audiences! Rather watching Venus than Justine! :(:()

I HATE watching Venus play! :( Federer though, hes an inspiration and a marvel!

He had a few good spells last year :D

He won teh 2005 Ausie open and made it into alteast the round of 16 at last years french open, though I forget how far he went!

he'll stay on the radar for a while longer yet, but i dont think he'll acomplish much of note IMO.

He was out in the first round this year in 4 sets.

he is still capable of repeating his US open and aussie open wins. After all the aussie open was only last year, that's not a long time ago. His US open win over Sampras will always be one of the best tennis matches i've ever witnessed in my life!

he's been bothered by knee injuries a lot and another thing is, he's Russian. they either come to play or not like their hockey team. so don't write off Safin just yet, he will still take a major tournament before he retires. French Open is just not his thing, he's never been great on clay.

Leave the clay for the true Professionals! :D

I like another Nadal vs. Federer Final... this time though Federer will take it, he's just too good and learning Nadal's game and adapting to it, he'll take it ;)

this could be his year...seeds have been dropping left and right.

OK, delayed reaction, ya, but watch what u say buddy:whip:
I am a Federer ADDICT - he has become my all-time fave athlete
surpassing Michael Jordan since winning the Aussie Open:D

But how can Nadal NOT be the favourite? 56 IN A ROW on clay:eek: ??!?!?!
AND hes beaten the KING (Federer) 5 of the last 6 (mostly on clay)....

I hoping for and EPIC Federer-Nadal final with Roger coming out on top
in his quest for the Grand Slam - which i'm DYING to witness:eyespop:

Sharapova is my queen, and i'm always cheering for her, but lay's not her thing....Henin-Hardenne will beat her imo.
Too tuff to say who'll come outta the women, but my $$ is with Clijsters - shes so in good....

Roger
