If it wasnt for Federer's over all ability in general, and his patience, and his having another year of facing Nadal under his belt to learn to oppose much of Nadal's natural finesse on this court, I'd say Nadal would take it.
But Federere is patient and learns quick. He has an absolutely INCREDIBLE mental game. (That said, Nadal's mind game is good too...).
I think Fed's gonna pull through though.
W/o Fed though, this would be Nadal's tournament NO QUESTIONS ASKED! |

There NO way i can get thru this post without mentioning that with this
win, qualifying for the quarters at the French Open, Ancic should crack

Oh ya, if Hingis DOES best Clijsters, you're right Jem,
WHAT A STATMENT that'd be after just returning!
Hated Hingis back in the day, now i genuinely cheer for her and hope she does well.
But honestly, i think Clijsters is gonna beat her in 2 tuff sets |

Federer vs Nalbandian in the semis!
Nalbandian vs Davydenko was a good one, too bad the Russian couldn't pull it off. Nalbandian has more confidence playing on clay i see, but that confidence will be all gone in the next round. Federer vs Nadal final, Feds takes this one!
Women's side: Kuznetsova vs Clijsters i think, with Clijsters taking it. Although i think Vaidisova deserves to win this French Open! Knocking out Williams and Mauresmo back to back isn't easy. |
