| Walking into a bar in this town is like walking into Cheers, and that's a great feeling. When I go out to the bars, it's not for the music, but to see and drink with my friends...and that's always a great time! |

Completely depends on where you go..
My Local Molly Bloom's can be good times, assuming some ass-clown doesn't spill his beer on your good Anjunabeats.com Longsleeve.
What a wad. |
Ah a fellow Londoner. I remember going there before it got insanely popular with students. Same with the martini bar, which has gone downhill now. I went back for the first time in 2 years a few weeks ago and that place went to ! No class anymore, just drunken, disrespectful, messy students. sigh.... |

Can't stand the bar scene, always overcrowded, always full of loud, obnoxious drunk people and most of the time it's a sausage-fest. Can't stand it never will. |
Whats the difference between that and going to Guvy that is also overcrowded, most of the time it's a sausage fest and many, many sketchy cracked out people?
i don't mind going to regular clubs/bars every now and then....a change of scenery is good every so often... |

University at Albany in New York. Got voted #1 in 2004 (my senior year) and 1999....and #3 the years in between, according to playboy magazine.
ACTUALLY my boss just sent me an article about how playboy refuses to vote for Albany anymore, because "it would be unfair to represent the masters in a poll full of amateurs" LOL. I thought that was funny.
Also, that sorority life show in MTV was also here, but they were not allowed to air it on TV because the rating of the station was to low for what they video taped. Too much nudity and illegal activity and . Sucks cuz I was at like 3 parties when they were taping so I could see myself on TV LOL:haha: :haha:
ahh fun times when I was there, but I am a little more grown now...no jello-wrestling anymore ;) |

I ing LOVE going to regular bars during the school year.
Honestly, picking a party at System/Guv/Boa vs. Cheap night at your local university club/bar is a TOUGH call for me.
EDM Clubs:
Pros:
Great music
Nice people
Excellant workout
LONG night
Cons:
Sketchbags
Recovery (I find it way worse than a hangover, like you don't feel TOO bad but you still can't get done)
Money
Sausage Party
Regular club:
Pros:
Cheap drinks
LOTS of friends and people you know from your daily routined life (work or school)
About as many girls as there are guys, sometimes more.
Cons:
Drunken idiots
Bad Music
Can't guarantee a good night
Mind you, I can only have a decent time if I don't know too many people at the bar. The best times are when you know alot of people.
:)

I enjoy hanging out at a good Pub with close friends, chilling out at a martini lounge or having a silly night out with the ladies at 80s glam rock night or brit pop blowup nights but I completely avoid the TOP 40/hip hop bars. If the music hurts my ears it doesn't matter who I am out with... I get annoyed.
Back in university I had a good laugh at the top 40 frat boy hang outs but I can't say I want to revisit those days. |

Ditto to EVERYTHING Karim just said.
And I actually can't stand a "sausage fest" either. I prefer equal amounts...I don't swing the other way, but its also fun to meet some awesome girls as well. :) |
