Ok, so heres the deal i constantly get ingrown hairs when i shave.. I am now using all my gf's facial products lotions salts etc... What are some other top quallity manufacturers of this stuff.. Im willing to try everything.

right now im using
Amore Pacific lotions face scrubs mask etc..
And this nionyc body wash salt stuff.

In fl i never had these ing problems. I think it may have had to do with the fact i was in the ocean everyday.

Any help on skin care would be great.. Also good lotions for arms legs etc my skin is really dry for the most part...

I know we got some females on the forum and some metro's so help me out..:(

I know they have the Israeli stuff called Ahava, its supposed to be a skin thing from the dead sea. I dunno if it will work for you, but it didnt really help me out that much.

i dont think you can do anything about ingrown hairs when you shave. They suck and are annoying!!! grrrrrrr

And yea the salt water could definately cause the dry skin. I used to get it from swimming every day.

imo the best thing to do is leave it alone. Sometimes if its really bad, lotion helps. But I think in the long run it could be worse if you get used to applying the lotion. Cause I used to have to put it on constantly, or my skin would just dry up...

just try not to think about it :D

I can't use the drug store shaving creams (Edge, Gilette, etc.)because they cause my neck to get razor bumped, so I've been sinking the money for the high quality stuff. It works much better. I use Anthony pre-shave oil ($18), then Zirh Shave Gel ($18) and every other day or so Kiehl's Facial Fuel. I've also been trying Kiehl's Brushless Shaving Cream (I think that's what it's called), it works well, but doesn't glide as much as the gel and if you are lazy and let your facial hair grow in for a few days, it can pull a bit more. The Kiehl's products were gifts, so I don't know the prices.

Also, some of my friends use E-Shave shaving cream, which they seem to really like. Everything but the Kiehl's stuff is available at Sephora. The people who work there might be able to help you with any further problems.

but after using that stuff, will your skin react really badly to gilette etc...?
Chivette
My boyfriend has the same problem. He tried my St.Ives Medicaded Facial Scrub and has noticed a HUGE difference. Good Luck!
Groundhog Boy
Gilette was reacting badly in the first place, so even if i stop using the better ones, i'm still where I started. I mean, there probably will be some withdrawal if you stop pampering your face. Also, if you look at the ingredients, most of the brands in the drug stores are derived more from chemicals, whereas the Kiehl's and many of the Sephora products use more natural oils, etc.

Of all of the products I use, I think the shave oil actually makes the biggest difference.
