And. he is coming to NYC!!!!!!!!!! To see me!!!!!!!! and we are going to see Ferry together. Maybe....

P.S. and yes, Tijs got 10K from Neil, the owner of Godskitchen. I just asked him about it. Now, does it change anything? Not really. It was worth every penny of $80 i paid for.

and I want to thanks Mat for everything, for such a great time together and for taking my naked video and pis by the pool.
You know you have a friend in NYC and i'm always here for you, Friend.

First chance to post since i read about this earlier (before Sveta's confirmation), but who cares if anyone gave him extra money? Especially if it's Neil Moffit of Godskitchen. He runs that club, so if he feels that 10K is worth it to keep the talent and keep drinks flowing, so be it. They made enough money on $80 presale and $150 at the door to do it. I mean, Tiesto probably got paid roughly 50K for the event (for 3 hours), so if he played for another 2 hours for 10K, he still played for less than originally contracted, if you view it from an hourly basis. Who amongst us would bitch if we found out that our favorite DJs spun at Crobar, Spirit, Avalon, etc. for extra cash and we got to enjoy it for longer? It's the end result that matters, and in this case, if Godskitchen paid for it, they just made a little less money (if that's even true based on drink sales), and I'm sure that they ran the numbers and realized that maybe they should treat the club's patrons. Why should it always be the DJ who bestows the gift of more music on us? Don't we pay enough money in cover charges and drinks to have club owners give us a gift once in awhile?

Furthermore, this is their job (which granted they make more in a few nights than I make working 2500 hours a year), but how many of you would refuse overtime if you didn't have anything else to do?

To add on to the end of this, I would like to say that the 2x I've seen Tiesto, I haven't been impressed, so it's not like I'm some big fan kissing his ass. I'm just looking at it from a business perspective

????? Not to be rude, but, Sveta, what does having sex with men have to do with estimating a crowd size?

Also, it's Vegas, it's Godskitchen, and it's Ice, which got a lot of fame from the show about it. Of course it's going to be expensive. It's not like NYC, where a good deal of the crowd lives here. It's a vacation spot, where people are already dropping cash like crazy. I thought Armin for $60 wasn't bad considering he played Spin in Miami for $50, and PvD/Ferry/Sander at Space was $60 at the door. Tiesto's $150 is extreme, but that's what happens when you don't get pre-sale.

thanks for the post. I was trying to tell this also but you did it better.
The size of the *** was just an answer to a previous post about dutch guys.
Vegas is not that expensive, I was at Ice two months ago and i paid $10 to get in.

Wow what a great night AVB was, met a lot of very cool poeple, and his track selection was right on. Couldn't have asked for a better night, and better ending to it, the whole next morning and afternoon at Drais was just as fun!

To be honest i didn't really care to see Tiesto as the couple times ive seen him his track selection was poor, and his style was pretty cheesey, and DD is not cup of tee iether but obviously the whole night was great from what i heard. I was at rubber at the palms, and i would not exchange that night for any other night of my life :) :) :) you can't argue with perfect 10's running around club Rain in g-strings rolling on ecxtacy :) :) but anyway thats for another thread.

Im glad to see others had as much fun in vegas as i did, hopefully next time all us TA's can meet up for pre party for possibly Ferry july 3rd?

As far as the 10 grand subject, i did hear the godskitchen guy paid tiesto but its none of our business, and really why do you poeple care? Tiesto obviously get PAID our job is to enjoy his music and sets :) not argue about who gave him the money and how much it was.
Sveta
BTW, i have some video, pm me.

I care because it was a very nice thing to do for the people in attendance. An extra 2.5 hours of Tiesto (especially the Tiesto I saw that night) was just phenomenal and a great way to end the memorial day weekend. The fact that somebody dropped an extra $10k to make my night even better is pretty selfless and much appreciated (even if it was an ICE affiliate). Hats off!

Sveta I'd love to see the video. I'll PM ya!
