okey so i was reading the history discussion and i am not a member there so I thought I would ask you this question and give my opinion.
I believe we Americans should go to Mars and its a manned mission by the way. We should send someone to mars and bring him back no matter how much money it would cause us. Sending a human to mars would advance the technology we have now. We would also understand more about the planets and we could serioulsy improve nationaly pride.
So instead of always hearing about outsourcing and the budget shortfalls we could hear about how we landed a man to mars and brought him back.
so what do you believe? |

i believe that woudl be suicide. Not only is it gonna take another 3 years for us to be in a position to send anything to mars, but it takes 2-3 years to get there, they'd have to have enough food oxygen and water to last that long, then food, ocygen, water to live on mars to collect data, then somehow after the few years have pasted in which the best time owuld come to travel back, they'd have to have enough energy on the sip to launch again and survive andother 2-3 year trip.
so we are looking at a 10 year long space trip. how much food would you pack?
ps, i made all this up but I think its close to accurrate. |
