Well he mixes ASOT on Ableton, so you really don't have much of an argument here.
And don't tell me Tiesto can mix the same 2 records continuously for 2 minutes, that's just sheer ignorance. |

+1...and on top of it..they tune in EVERY week to continue the bitching. my question is that if you bitch so much about the show, why do you still tune in? obviously everyone isn't going to like every tune on every show, but to spend 3-4 pages bitching about an acappella that he EXPERIMENTED with is retarded. when you dj, it's all about trying new things and seeing what works and what doesn't. i give him props for trying to do something original/different. |

Oh yeah, Tiesto can. We fail to remember sometimes why Tiesto is #1. It's certainly not because of anything he is doing these days but he had quite a strong spell there from 97-2000 that built him up to being #1.
The same will happen with Armin, he is strong now and has been for a while (actually since he first started producing) and he will get his recognition. I just hope Armin doesn't go as mainstream as Tiesto has (though signs tend to point to 'yes').
Tiesto can (could) mix just as good as Armin, Ferry, etc... he just hasn't, or possibly he's lost that touch. I think he focuses on producing so much that his DJ telent may be falling off. I offer you to listen to the 2002 Dutch Dimension set. He runs several records together for a while longer than 'just a mix'. The man has talent, believe it or not. |

Tiesto COULD mix a few years ago. I constantly hear trainwrecks from him now, yes I'll admit once in a while he plays a good set but by no means should he be #1! |
