Tiesto can (could) mix just as good as Armin, Ferry, etc... he just hasn't, or possibly he's lost that touch. I think he focuses on producing so much that his DJ telent may be falling off. I offer you to listen to the 2002 Dutch Dimension set. He runs several records together for a while longer than 'just a mix'. The man has talent, believe it or not. |

Tiesto can still mix, only he doesnt show it all the time.
I'm curious when Armin is number one if he can keep putting up quality mixing all the time. Not only because of the huge amount of gigs but also because of the pressure.
Tiesto can still deliver great sets, I've heard him a few times this year and he really showed the skills there! |

but it seems like people on the internet are never satisfied and aren't afraid of sharing their meaning to the whole world.
Now they bash Armin for playing the wrong tunes on ASOT or trying new things they don't like, but when they see him live they totally go nuts and dance like there's no tomorrow.
just relax, it's all about MUSIC. and nobody should argue about music, it's just about taste. |

very, well put...
its like tv, just change the channel if you dont like the show. i understand its a forum & this is where people to love to moan & cry, etc... but a trance forum is the last place this kind of whining should take place. dont open your mind to trance, only to shut it off to certain kinds of trance, or certain experimentations & start crying about it. with that said, i thought it was a good ASOT, not great, not horrible, but good. there usually isnt gonna be an ASOT where everyone is happy, although armin somehow delivers almost all of the time. :) |
