Its not a trend, its more of a life decision not to give up your virginity to the first slut that opens her legs and then most g.f's that you have for the rest of your existance till you get married. I personally view that people who still have their virginity as people who are smarter and who have seen the light. Why you ask? I think that they see what some of their friends are doing and ing up with others and they don't wish to do the same. Yes there is the argument that people who have sex have more fun and yes there is the argument that you have to be able to have great sex before you get married, I think its all bull personally. I don't see why someone has to be labeled weaker than others, just because him or her wish to wait till they get married or they wish to meet the one before they give it up. So trend? Its never been for people to be cool or not cool, most virgins don't give a what the world thinks, he or she rather wait till they get married and I don't see why the world has to come down on him or her because its it basically your own decision. I honestly think its also another incident of the world saying follow me or you are ed and we all know the world don't got any of the answers because look how ed up our world is. Personally if you want to get laid before marriage, that's your call, if you want to wait, that's your call. I don't think either is weaker or stronger and it sure as heck ain't a trend.

We are indeed animals, but if those are your instincts, I'd say you've got bigger problems than that. I for one don't feel the instinct to kill, rape, or steal.

I'm pretty sure the purpose of sex was for procreation. The reason they made it feel so good was for more people to have sex and spread more of a seed.
Also, it has been recently scientifically and anthropologically proven that the reason women like to stay up and chat after orgasm and the male wants nothing more but to pass out and sleep is because the women are SUPPOSED to go around and mate with many males in one session in order to ensure fertility, while a male serves his single shot purpose and cops out. This entire notion of having a single partner and marriage came when man decided to get possessive and not share "his woman".
Don't get me wrong though, I'm a fan of love and all the good feelings it comes with...

Regardless of the implied nature of the thread, something remains a constant truth.
Relationships in modern society almost always depend on sexual compatibility, something thats pretty much impossible to find out unless you have sex.
If you are going to spend the rest of your life with someone (good luck!), its safe to assume that you should be able to pleasure eachother.
Not knocking virgins as it is their choice, I didn't lose mine til I was 21, but just think of the implications if you are getting engaged/married... |
