Talk about lame publicity. "booho look at me, I'm quitting the scene coz' noone buys our records". Well. ok - go. let your music speak for you. if it is missed, you were good. besides, aint' it grand to leave on a high note, not on a low note like Tiesto is going to end up?
Puh leez. as I said earlier - if you go into business of music, make sure you have some other career lined up. It's by far the hardest business to break into, especially as a "trance" artist. I'm amazed at the sheer number of awesome tunage released by no-name-acts, from home studios!
It also scares me - coz' I realize how little chance my productions stand. But I didn't get involved with music for the love of money, nor would I ever expect it to be a full time gig, even if by some miracle I got signed. And even if it was a #1 choon, etc etc, I'd still know that it's all temporary.
YOu either got tallent and you'll make it or you won't. So, get real.
There's plenty of talent that doesn't get noticed and doesn't get paid and yet you still see new choons. It's not like because dumonde stopped making tracks, we're now without music.
Oh, that crap about industry is not what it was 5 years ago.. DUH! stop making tracks that sound like '99 - get original and quit whining.

I do not know why you are exactly picking on me for that reason, or such, because you keep on whining and hammering about DuMonde = crappyasscheesevocals-not-1999-anymore-so-thus-worthless-cheese in every thread about this subject.
I know liking DuMonde on TA-OMG-Sasha-Diggers is horribly out of fashion because you know 'they only made good music in '99 so liking them now is only proof of my horrible taste of music'. But I like them, and I like 'Can u dig it' and I do not use drugs and I am not an average clubber. The song is awesome when heared live, and when heared in my room
So deal with it: I like DuMonde, I like 'Can u dig it', hell, I like 'Kalt' too! Yeah! With the cheesy crapass vocals I only hear you whining about! |
