I'm a strong advocate of natural highs, believing that your mind has the power to unlock adenaline unlike any synthetic ones can.
Some people might argue at this point that some drugs act simply as a gatekeeper to those euphoric trips but I argue that you can control that genuinely with conscience pratice...but this is another line of thought...
(did I mention mental focus?) :p
Anyways...
My favorite natural high that comes to mind is being in the middle of the dance floor with AvB playing at GUV dropping, "Perpetuous Dreamer"...
So what's yours?

Definitly something to do with AVB, or some trance or progressive DJ !! Even just listening to music at home, or when I do really well on a project or essay at school. Sometimes when I buy something new that I wanted for a while, I get that "high" feeling as you put it, lol. |

Last Saturday, hearing the distinctive sound of Yahel - Voyage being mixed in. The nice breakdown is so good :)
In addition, back in February when Matt Hardwick was here and he was teasing us with the 2005 remix of Red Line Highway, then finally dropped the original... The near-silent, sweeping breakdown of that song is pure euphoria and bliss.
I just can't get enough of a song that can unlock those feelings in me, it's better than almost anything. |

But mine is definitely being at a club/venue and hearing a DJ drop a tune (or tunes) I LOOOOOVE!!!
Very very close second is listening to tunes at home, walkman, WHEREVER you might be and a song comes on that is so good it sends chills all over your body. I love that feeling!! :D
Oh another one to add is when someone gives me a really nice, sincere compliment. I feel great for days. |

Actually, mines not when im on a dancefloor listning to armin or any other DJ, its actually whem in with a good group of my buddys and we're non stop telling jokes and im laughing sooooo n hard i simply can barely keep stadning up straight or that my insides are hurting bc im laughing so hard. (Last October at Talisman Mtn. Resort for some weeklong workplace traning comes to mind!!!)
those are trully the best natural highs ive ever experienced and they totally make me feel 10 years younger and so refreshed/good!

| Whenever I am at guv and I'm not planning on consuming anything I do what I call a simulated roll. Works pretty well but only for trance music. I load up on some red bulls, then a freezy and wait a while for the sugar rush. I don't chat much or dance too hard just feel the music in that time. Then suddenly it hits... love the feeling. Don't know if this is a natural high since caffeine, guarana and sugar is involved but it's as close to natural I'm gonna get. :) |
