Well, no one knows 100% sure that it's all ages just yet.
Anyhow, tickets go on sale Friday, not today.

Marketing had a lot to do with it in the 2nd and 3rd years, but he was a relative unkown in the edm world in 2002 when he was voted #1. People notice when he wrecks because more people listen to him than any other dj so more people are going to notice his mistakes. If you are playing at a small club with 500 people, not many people are gonna know if you up. Have you listened to the Tiesto in Concert 2 dvd or the live sets from Holland? They are flawless, but I have heard him wreck on occasion.
He usually takes at least a short rest before his concerts, but he is commited to Ibiza. |

Think about this, imagine traveling, spinning, partying, traveling, flying, time differnce ect ect. I am sure there are days he shows up not feeling the best he should.
Anyway you look at Tijs, he is a great producer, great DJ and great showman which in all reality should help the EDM scene to where it needs to be. If we all start hating on things like most haters do it just boggs things down. I hate alot of music but i respect it and the artists.
Why hate when you can masterbate? |

Its funny...considering I can name so many DJs who are nowhere near #1 on the poll but are MUCH better than Tiesto. There are hundreds of DJ's who spin better music, have much better mixing skills and are still grounded to earth. But I'm not gonna sit here and argue why I think Tiesto sucks today...I'll let you fans enjoy it...but you wont see me spending money to see him anytime soon. |

even tho tiesto is doing his yearly summer thing in ibiza (thursday nights throughout the summer) is there a chance he gets booked for a 'warmup' type show that friday night before the TIC at a REAL club? maybe a nice 3-4 hour set at ruby skye perhaps =) |
There are two possibilities.
1, he'll be in LA making final preparations.
2, he'll be in Washington performing their TIC. (Washington, Miami & New Orleans also have TIC's - 1 more in August, and 2 in October).
He's spinning in Ibiza on the thursday - which is strange, as he skips it a few times in August to tour Greece & Turkey... yet plays there before flying over for a TIC.
BTW for more Tiesto news... the majority of his 7-8 performances in AMnesia this year will be Magik Muzik Nights :) |

Maybe in 1999 he was unknown outside Holland.
In 2001 he was number 6 in the world.
In 2000 he was number 32ish...
hardly surprising he became number 1.
His real breakthrough happened in 01 imo when he started touring the states.
That combined with rampant dutch internet voting in 2002 brought him to the number 1 spot. |

| entrance will be hectic for sure. if insomniac is involved, i am not sure if i would go. i am sick of the ticketbastard fees, but buying the ticket at the door is hopeless. |

| I never had a problem at an insomniac event. ;) |
