having a 21 birthday the day after a big name comes to the club is pretty sucky, and at first i was pissed...

but then, after some thought, I realized something...IT'S TIESTO!!!!!

I would have liked to see Rush, but whatever, I had a good time at the secret fire event and am looking forward to gabriel and dresden
SENECA
Kyle... hands down ing killed it. I will be posting videos later on but I'm still recovering from last night.

I wasn't all that excited to be there because I knew the conditions were going to be ty (overcrowded, hot and muggy... exactly how it was) but after getting blasted and having a great time with friends... i really didn't care if Tiesto was sucking. I'm not one to pick out a DJs faults or whatever... I'm more the type of person who now as a producer is actually picking the songs apart and listening to how they are made regardless of who is spinning them.

Tiesto played 2 or 3 tracks that I really need an ID on and I have some of those on video... so if anyone can help after I post them that would be great since I normally don't follow what he plays... check his playlists etc.

nice to meet you jonze... good seeing you princess :)

alright, after reading all your reviews i am glad that I decided (last minute) not to go.... I took off work to see my fellow dutchman spin, but i had a vision that I'd be too dissapointed... As you all are explaining in your reviews that it was hot/muggy etc. etc. I figured I would NEVEr be worth it to go to Tiesto.... I will save the $$$ to see him @ millennium park... or this summer in Ibiza :)

There are so many good shows coming up..and I cannot take off work, AGAIN....so i might have to miss G&D or Ferry.... which one?

Cheers,

I would say miss Ferry.

As for the Tiesto show, the clubbing conditions are what should be expected. There's always capacity issues with big shows like this and I know there are complaints about getting out and not being let into the roped off area.

The music was good. I enjoyed the trancetasticness of it all at moments but the most dancing I did was after crossing over to hear Rush in the lair.

Most of the people I met for the show were from out of town. Some dude flew in from North Carolina. Some were from Detroit, St. Louis, and a load from Madison.

Cool running into you again, Seneca, and staffing with you CTPrincess.

her name is rowena - and she is one of the nicest people in the world and i love her accent :)

i had more people come up to me and say "i know such and such, can you let me in?"

in response - "i have no idea who such and such is, and NO, i can't let you in."
