This sideways off topic discussion would have probably been better averted if one had said instead "yeah, perhaps I was talking too much about Ibiza, I'll try to keep the talk down. I'm just really excited to be going." Which you initially did... but
Moving on.... I'm curious to see some pics too, just make there's some hot honey's in there. |

that was you? up in the upper right side of the club if you are standing on the stage with the booth. did some guy with photon lights borrow them for a few min and use your sticks with his lights at one point. i must have walked by you quite a few times. i had the small 4 inch green sticks... |

IMHO Tiesto started our great, I had a feeling that it was gonna be a great night, but after the screw up with "Innocente" he never atleast got "ME" back in the groove.....as you guys said earlier, track selection was decent but the flow was all screwed up.... This was my 3rd time seeing Tiesto perform and was the worst of them all....the previous ones were 2002 (Amsterdamn) and 2003 (Ohio) and boy he got me so in the mix both the times.
Anyways, lookin forward to Armin coming weekend!! :D but Spirit dampens my Spirit a lil bit...buit its OK i guess...we will have a good time!!!

Probably because he does his NYC events with Made Events and I've never seen them do anything at Crobar, with the exception of the last minute switch from AvB's Central Park show. They probably didn't have Spirit as an option that night. Purely from speculation, was Spirit supposed to be open that night? If not, they probably couldn't staff bar and security, and since Crobar was doing it's Disgraceland parties on Thursdays, all that they needed to do was ask people to come in earlier. If you noticed, Crobar was really understaffed that night, as they didn't have the Reed Room open and weren't letting anyone out to smoke, and if you remember, they let everyone go outside last summer.
If he wanted to go through another promoter, then he could do Crobar. Notice that PvD in April wasn't a Made Event. |

I had a great night!
Suprisingly enough I've been really with it and alert all day, which is a total bonus!!
I started preceedings off about 3 in the afternoon by listening to a few old Tiesto sets. Then stuck on TIC2.
I was supposed to meet my mates in Brite. The place wasnt so Brite when I got there since it was shut, so spun round to the Blarney Stone on 29th & 9th for some beers (amazingly cheap by the way - 3.50 a bottle!!) Met my friends and got to the club about 11.30 and a small queue.
We got inside a Serge was spinning some decent beats, although I thought the sound system was a little off - maybe it was just me. Tiesto came out just before midnight and was starting to build up nicely and then a deafening 10 second silence came over the crowd as he had a prob on the decks; saying that though the crowd didnt beat him up to badly I didnt think. Took a couple of tracks to build it back up and all was forgotten about that incident.
I wasn't going to drink that much last night, but we kept doing rounds and ended up drinking till I left around 4 :rolleyes: I must have been pretty happy with Tiesto as I was trying to start TI-ES-TO chants - ha ha ha ha
I thought Tiestos set was pretty average, Souhtern Sun was great - I love that tune. Tiesto did seem a bit appathetic with the night, and spent quiet a bit of time off the decks, more so than the TIC2 release night if I remember. Nonetheless I had a top time and it was great to bump into the hardcore Sunday night NYTAs especially Bree, Brian, Joey, Sveta and Mike!!!
