A lot of it is phooshop...it's really unblievable what you can do these days, none of the images are real..my friend just graduated from OCAD advertising (or about to graduate) and they did a lot of stuff with photoshop that I couldn't believe...and it looks so real :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: definitely fooled me! :( |

| The problem with fake and bake is that you can really tell who's been to the salon or not cuz it doesn't look natural, a nice little bronze from the sun looks a helluva lot better. |

What's with everyone wanting to be tanned????? Is it really sexier or hotter if you are bronzed???
There is nothing wrong with milky white skin....stay white Cale, you'll look better in the long run for it. If you want a little colour for a while use a self tanner, it's safer anyways. |

| I tan twice a week. It gives me a good base for being outside in the summer. Just make sure you use the regular beds and not the stand ups or super beds or you will look like Dan. |

Ok as a health sciences student, I can say I am shocked that noone is informing the public more about UV rays and base tans or how few people know about it.....THEY DON'T EXIST!!!
I don't know where or when this idiotic rumour started floating around the world, but for anyone that took any basic biology and/or were taught about radiation, you would know that it's COMPLETE CRAP! Tans, burns...it's still damaged skin. It's complete ass to think that because you have a "base" tan that your skin is less prone to burn or become more damaged. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not doing anything harmful. Is your health really worth the few months of vanity? And seriously, tans don't miraculously turn everyone into supermodels because ALMOST EVERYONE ELSE HAS A TAN! It's kind of like a cellphone doesn't make you look cool anymore because everyone and their kids have one.
Sunscreen sucks, but believe me skin cancer is worse, for either you or someone you know. |

great idea richelle but u gotta make sure u rub that self tanner well and even on ur body especially fingers or u'll end up with NASTY brown streaks the next day :D |
