| well everyone is saying that the spurs are the best team out of the two previous ones that won the title, and i happend to agree on that, but the pistons are a great basketball team, i give the spurs the advantege because of the spurs offence, this will be a physical series, dont expect players showing off because both teams are serious on business. its hard to predict really. this also proves that defence wins games and not offence for all of u that felt that offence can beat defence. |

poor Rip Hamilton...he is going to have Bruce Bowen shadowing him all over the court practically making love to him and unlike the Heat the spurs can defend the pick and roll |
i think rip is going to be a challenge for bruce-lee bowen .. rip in my opinion is the best screen player in the league right now, right above ray allen and mike bibby ..
bowen has seen anthony and richardson/joe johnson/jim jackson, which don't come near the talent rip has .. anthony is good, but not as a great technical player as rip .. bowen had some problems with ray allen and rashard lewis at times .. |

good game .. spurs looked tight, as everyone thought they would be, since they had so many days off from physical basketball .. and also no team has played physical like the pistons towards the spurs at any time during the playoffs .. the sonics came close, but no cigar .. the suns and nuggets played too soft on the spurs .. you need to get physical on duncan ... seriously ..
but looking forward to game 2 .. this is going to be one hell of a series .. detroit played the spurs for the 1st 3 quarters, because they were testing the waters to see how weak and feeble the spurs are in some areas .. but here's one weakness the pistons really need to fix : when they get into a drought, and inside a deep hole, they never seem to show any effort to come out of it .. |

| Kinda stupid game...the Spurs had 7 illeagel points in the begining of the 4th (2 offensive fouls by ginobili,a technical foul on Big Ben who was right 100% BTW - and then a goaltending after no offensive foul was whisteled) - meaningless to say that those fake calls got Ginobil and the Spurs their biggest lead and brought Ginobili into the game. |

anti-basketball ?? :conf: :conf: .. what the hell are you talking about ? .. the pistons and spurs represent what basketball should be right now .. pure defense and no glamour .. just hard nosed pushing and now and again, if necessary, some blood also .. those were the good ol' days .. when blood was spurting on the court .. |
