the pistons do not suck for one thing .. the first game, they played 3 hard quarters, until the spurs had that great 4th quarter .. in game 2, the spurs took total control the full 48 minutes .. there were the "small" spurts now and again by detroit, especially in the 4th when they cut it to 8, but the spurs showed they are too good ..
the spurs easily could have manhandled the heat .. so you are going to tell me damon jones/eddie jones is going to stop manu's shots that are falling right now, and dwayne wade is going to stop tony parker from cutting in the paint, and udonis haslem is going to stop tim duncan from his excellent play ??? ... NO! .. price/hamilton, billups, and wallace are doing the best that they can do right now ..
we will see for game 3 .. but i do not find this series boring at all .. this series really is bringing out how basketball should be played like .. |

Detroit wasn't lucky today and they lost again almost in the same way... :( They need to work on the offense, they need to share the ball more and try to earn points by turnovers...
Now Pistons must win their home game on Tuesday. Otherwise Spurs will get the trophy... :whip: |

'sheed and pippen is still with the blazers .. jayson williams (duke) is the talk of the draft .. carter is still with the raptors . van gundy is still woth the knicks ..

anyways, back to topic .. the pistons had 4 1/2 good quarters (out of 8 .. the first 3 quarters of game 1, and the 3rd and 1/2 the 4th of game 2 ) .. the pistons played better defense in game 1 (more steals and blocks), but still lost .. game 2, spurs shot lights out (11 made 3's .. that's lights out), but the pistons dominated the boards, and produced more turnovers again ...
look for the spurs in game 3 to run out of luck .. the pistons have the right formula there, but it's true .. you can't win at the alamo ..

| yeah i agree with u, the first quarter of the first game was a blowout i thought the spurs would of lost the game. Yes i expect the pistons to win tonight but not a blowout, spurs will play as hard as they have but i think the pistons can pull it tonight. But u never know what to expect from the spurs, they are such a deep team, if manu has a bad night tonight, duncan will have a huge one. they are balanced, unlike detroit is. but san antonio will win one game in the 3 game road trip, and maybe 2 and can finnish this off here. |
