Bring Trance back to "Tranceaddict"

Two years ago this month I joined today and I'll say, its not the way it was when I joined back then, at that time, this was mostly all about trance, some house, some prog, techno and etc. These days, its nothing but house and other crap, that I rather hear if I was doing cocaine. When I talked to markus schulz the other day, I asked him when he will be back in Miami for a gig, not for a while, Miami is mostly all about house, and the more I see people in here jumping on the bandwagon and heading that way. First off, Im not knocking it at all, people listen to trance then move on over to house, if that whats you're all about, then that is cool, I have no problem with that, u get tired of trance and rather listen to something else, ok good, more power to ya, but I see some moving on over cause others are, its the way to be in Miami, if sooo, OFF, analjunkie/tooljunkie is the best place to be, like I said in another thread that is sheding some light on this mattter, where we can and what we are all about, is what this site us all about, two years ago, most of hte people that were die hard trance fans are now slowing turning to teh dark side, like I said, if thats what u wanna do, then thats cool, dont do it unless u want to, how the music is, the music is what drives u, takes u on a journey for hrs and hrs, dont be a follower, believe in who you are and what u are and what you listen to, myself and a few others I see are the last of the Tru TA's, yeah I started to listen to Sander, why I say, cause I listen to his sets and never saw him before and took a chance to see him for the first time in Orlando of last year and after that I was blown away, I saw him at WMC over Tiesto at Space, cause I wanted to see him again and matthew dekay and didnt wanna be in the middle of another massive sardine party at space like the last time in June of last year, most of you remember how bad it was.
Anyways all im trying to say is that I miss the old TA, what it was all about, the people, and now the same people are going to see Oscar G the ones that were laughing to his sets a while ago are now jumping on his cock, hey man, thats the way u wanna go, fake central is two streets to the right, down the street and park at the house that says "Bling" on it, TRANCEADDICT is all about EDM, but at the same time, today I dont see anything about trance, from now that has to change, Trance is alive and has been here, people tend to forget aobut it and go elsewhere or to other parties or just to the club itself, no man, I am all about the music and the DJ's, if u are tired of tiesto, armin, ferry or all of the top ones, start listening to the new and upcoming trance peeps, Groove Eric, Doug, Michael, Suzy Solar, Robvox, Elevation, Re-Lick, Obby, Stan, Kris, never forget your roots on where u came from in EDM, and two years from now, I wonder where we will be, and another one more thing...

| I agree. This place is tranceaddict.com but apparently half the members hate trance now or talk about other genres instead. It's kind of dumb. |

| heh .. Damon, imagine, if you thought it was awesome when u registered, imagine it back into 2000... Everyone jumped in Unison when a trance DJ came to Town, let it be PvD, Tiesto, Oakenfold, and the extended and prgoressing sounds of Sasha Digweed and what not.. EdgarV and when Georgie was good Dj.. now is all about bashing them all back.. even within the trance community its divided.. there's a HUGE slowdown on the trance currently here in South FL.. I dont know if is a good thing or a bad thing.. all I know is that Im happy that Im going to Ferry and will see PvD.. and sad that Im forced to miss the Tuesdays.. I love all genres but party's I always give Priority on top of others are the trance.. ;) |

unfortunately things change. people change. music change.
however, i must say this section is very bad as of some months now. i dont know the 'why' but there seems to be a very bad 'influx' is lame threads and such. about a year ago this section, florida and southeast, used to be nothing but 'order and respect.' these days it's all but that.
i know many of you have said the same, but it's very discouraging if a person tries to read these, and all they encounter is dog.
