No. If you're that diverse, you should be able to list what kind of sounds were important that year.

ie
2004: melodic beats with deep basslines
2005: dark driven basslines with techny elements

I don't think this type of description will be enough. Those two you've listed describe only two genres.

Also, what do you mean important. Important to whom, myself or in general.

It could be lots of things. I think "melodic beats with deep basslines" can mean prog breaks, atmospheric drum 'n bass, dream trance, prog trance, prog house, and a few others. "dark driven basslines with techny elements " that could be tech-trance, tech-house, tech-breaks, techno. it's just that sound you liked for that year. does that make sense?

important to you. what sound do you most identify with.

Well then for this year it will be melodic elements with some psychodelic parts with techy riffs with pounding and not so pounding basslines......damn it is too much man. You see what I am saying, I can't just fit all the genres that I've learned to like in one sentence description.

Am I the only one who becomes more diverse?

I would hardly call variations of 'trance' more diverse. But thanks for playing the 'I'm more l33t' than you game.
