Ah! ive had trouble sleeping for about a week now, i usually go to sleep around 11:30pm, but not its more like 12:45-1:30am...
I just cant fall asleep! I turn off my tv at 11:00pm and then i just lie there on my bed for hours! and then when i do fall asleep, i wake up around 4:00am (pee) then I go back to bed and wait another hour to fall asleep, when i do, I usually wake up a couple of hours later like around 8:00-:30am (pee again), then for osme reason I always feel sleepy after that (the only time i feel sleepy) then i go to sleep for like 2 or 3 more hours...
anyone having any similar problems?

Been an insomniac for years now. You can always try sleeping pills or the like, but I stay away from them. Maybe having a radio on sleep or your tele on sleep... sometimes the background noise helps you fall asleep better than pure silence. I get my best sleep in class haha which is not the best thing. Or maybe you're just drinking caffeine too late in the evening.
Good luck,

too much TV, when i watch too much TV or teh monitor i can't sleep either. You can go and do something physicaly draining, like jerking off or jogging, that seems to help |

Sleep deprivation is prone in my family. I think alot of it might be stress. I've had sleep problems since about 15. There is a herbal supplement called Melatonin, which I didn't feel worked too successfully. There is also Ambian? (sp) which tried once, knocked me out. However, I had a real queasy and was seeing lights. After that one pill, I've decided to never take pills again to ail any problems. I've noticed after sleeping pills you feel really, really groggy the next morning.
Then, I resorted to hot teas w/ Chamomile + warm milk right after soaking in a hot bath. THAT was my cure.
Also, your bodies natural clock may be unbalanced. Set a routine, a schedule. I've noticed if I stay out until 5 AM and have to get up at 9, the next couple of days will be result in me not being able to sleep until early in the morning and then sleeping in until late in the afternoon. hahaaah I actually prefer that, but I feel for wasting a whole day away and then being up all night. It's always hard for me to get back in my mode after summer, especially when school starts. It takes about a month to get my sleeping patterns right. You just need to stick w/ a schedule. But it's summer right now, who gives? There is time to recuperate from a day or two without sleep. Just worry about when school nears. :D |
