Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyy. We just got back to NYC. Tired but happy with the result.

Mike picked me up at 5 pm. We were strictly following the mapquest.com directions and it wouldn't take us 5.5 hours to get to DC if we wouldn't stuck in traffic in Lincoln Tunnel.
We made to DC with no problems and got lost in the city. Luckily on the gas station we asked a young guy the directions to Fur and he happened to be a promoter of this club, so we were delivered to the club at 11.30.
Armin's guest list can make you break a strict Fur dress code rule and Mike succeed. (hahahah remember Gail running to the guest list guy screaming that we are a special Armin's arrive and we have to be inside no matter what we were dressed in)
It was barely packed. Dj Remy was spinning a very progressive but easly digestable house. He was good. I think people weren't appreciating his set. Pity. Because it was really cool.

Armin went on at 1.15 am. It got packed by then. In my last visit to Fur i was very surprised by the friendly crowd but this time i didn't feel the same (maybe because vtec wasnt there to comfort me hahahah) but everything ennoyed me - people who were passing by all the time and touching my butt, arms, shoulders et cetera. Maybe i was just tired and getting cranky.
So i went to the booth to let Armin know that WE MADE IT THERE.
I spent the entire night in a booth - dancing, chatting with some people who remembered me from my last visit in April and making new friends.

Armin was a way harder then in NYC (and it was after i told him that he was always so hard in New York in comparison with other cities - it was like a total opposite). I leave the tecnique part of his set to Mike because he is a prof and i'm just a dj junkie. LOL

Armin finished around 5 am and we all went to the private party upstairs (poor Mike, he was talking to somebody when i called him with us and when he was about to come security didn't let him in :( )
I danced and talked to Armin for a bit and because everybody was tired we left in about 30 mins.

It was risque to drive back because neither Mike nor I had enough sleep in the past three days but we did it and i got home at 10 am. Tired and happy.

Summery.
It was my 6th Armin's gig in 6 months. Every single time i saw him he was different except one thing - He was equally good all the time. From now and on Armin's name stands for "QUALITY".

and who is the BEST DJ?

P.S. it was nice seeing some of DCTA guys. A HUGE thank to Pete for doing SOOOOO much for me every time i see him. I'm def coming down for Ferry in July.
Big Mike - thanks for being my partner in crime. You are the best and i got to love you even more. If it wasn't you i would be still in my bed with my book but.... i'm tired, feel and look like shiet but HAPPY. THANK YOU. MUAH!!!!!

And Armin.... Armin van Buuren! You know everything i want to tell you but you just need to multiply it by 3 to get a true picture. You are a very unique person with a great attitude and energy. I was traveling a lot to see you and you never dissapointed me. Thanks.

Sveta - The crowd at Glow can really suck at times. The TA's and Glow forum people pretty much make up the good vibes at Fur so if you don't know them then it can be a rough time. I can't tell you how many times ive almost had to kick somebodys ass for harassing and putting their hands on my friends. Sorry I wasn't there to protect you. lol

Yea, I had to say that Armin played a harder set than the one in NYC. Haha, he cheated us. Well I guess driving those 5+ hours was worth it. I'm surprised Armin did'nt play Serenity. Hmmm. Everything else was great. Remy played a track with a vocal saying "TRACK!" (Echoes). Can anyone ID that track? I can never figure it out :( Sveta, it was cool hanging with you for that entire weekend practically :toocool: My feet hurt now, and I'm going back to sleep. Nice to see people like Commander & Greed.
