What blank CD brands are the best for burning music on them and playing it in a CD/DJ turntable?

Which are least expensive but still have great quality?
sot
i use memorex black cd-r's and verbatim. they both seem pretty good :)
OMNIFEX
I've had great results with Taiyo Yuden.
Rikki
I've been using these cheap cheap CDR's and they seem fine:

R.
DaveSchloosh!
I find that the burning software is more important that the CDrs.
Nero seems to burn anything for CMX
IntegraR0064
pretty much anything, except these "OHM" ones I got from office depot...they skip a lot on my car stereo, and don't play at all in my numark axis 9...

it's all about the verbatim vinyls :)

You got it my friend. Verbatim vinyls are the way to go.
(And mark 'em with a metallic silver sharpie,on the vinyl)

It's all about the TDKs, although those Verbatim ones that look like vinyl are hot :P

I just bought me some of those verbatim vinyl CDR's and they won't burn right. Anyone else have any probs with these? I'm using a newer light-on dvd/cd burner and Nero. I had to switch back to my trusty ole Sony CDR's and they work flawlessly.

It's not the cdr that's the problem but your cd drive.

I don't know how to explain it but basically some cd burners sometimes don't like certain brands.

I've had this happen a couple times. Really not lucky when you consider that it happened once with a spindle of 100 Philips cdr's. They skipped when burnt with my cd burner but they worked fine burnt on another friends one.

It's not a problem with hardware in exact terms but more like a compatibility issue.

when i first seen these lil basterds ,had to have them! but i had the same problem when i first used a verbatim vinyl. but i lowerd the burning speed to 16x on my burner an hasn't failed yet =) ! also works flawless with my cd tables .1 thing though ,nothing major but only thing i noticed with these are that there just a hair thinker cause the vinyl and have to give a very slight tap to get them into the deck but no scratchs while doing so. -cheers
