I cut off a significant chunk of my thumb

So at work yesterday, I was trimming some product when the knife J'd on me and sliced off roughly 1/2 of a square in. of flesh on my thumb. I cut down through a couple layers and bled for over an hour before accepting a trip to the emergency room (I don't have insurance).

A thread like this wouldnt be complete without pictures, but I only snapped a handful while I cleaned and rebandaged tonight, none of which came out very well. Nonetheless here they are.

IF YOU ARE REMOTELY SQUEAMISH, I DONT RECCOMEND LOOKING AT THESE. That said, the quality is bad enough so that they arent totally gruesome, and I imagine most people can handle looking at them.

I do web dev for local businesses. However, that doesnt pay me enough so I also do service labor at a grocer. I do everything from butcher, to cashier to banking, to inventory and ordering. I cut my thumb trimming product early Sunday.
