Wo0! I love storms.
This pic looks like a scene after a snowfall....but it's a crapload of hail that fell on my city.
Unbeleivably the were still hail drifts on the sidewalks for *6 Days* after the storm...and the days were over 25c or 77F :eek: |

we've been having some wicked storms lately...and actually, yesterday i was in the livingroom on the couch watching tv and all of a sudden the entire apt lit up (from a flash of lightning) but it was so intense, that it was like a camera flash went off, and the thunder clapped so loud, and it was simultaneous with the lightning and it sounded almost like a loud gun shot, so i really think the ligntning struck something. then 1 minute later, we smelled smoke. i swear i think the lightning hit our apt. building and we smelled it cuz we're on the 3rd floor...i think it hit our roof.
but we didn't lose power so i dunno...
anyway, here's today's storm...

lol yea, that whole pool is in my backyard. i have a mansion.
jk that's my apt. complex...it's the community pool...
by the way, pools are pretty common in south florida...i take it u dont have many by you? |

These are just a few pictures [of the hundreds] i have from when i went storm chasing on Aug 26, 2004 in southwest Iowa. i've got some in' sweet video from that day too.

You all know I chase storms, right? This was last sunday (12 June) in the Southern Texas panhandle:
