ATB can be veeery cheesy and he can also be veeeery underground. But the point is: he can really make a crowd go nuts! :D
His latest single is called "Believe In Me" and features the vocals of 4-Strings member Jan Löchel. It's actually his worst production ever if you ask me. |
+1
he's so unpredictable!! |

well actually it says written by Woody van Eyden AND Andre...
but yeah...I must say i respect ATB very much. I don't really think any of his stuff is cheese. He's made too many great songs to be considered anything like that 80's pop song remaking artist DJ Sammy. Some of his highlights for any of you that don't really listen to him are...
Emotions
9pm till i come
Dont Stop
Kayama
Beachvibes
Too Much Rain
Ecstasy
My Dream
See U Again
First Love
The Fields of Love
The Summer
Timeless
Sensuality and plenty more...
and as for the comment on atb's "Killer" being cheese...it was a cover for Seal, compare it to the covers by DJ Sammy, and youll see that he beats it by far...especially since Sammy seems to make a career out of em entirely |

| my problem with ATB is that he seems very calculating. When he starts to get people talking negatively about him, he goes a bit more underground. But he is a cheester at heart. He always seems to revert back to it. |

| he also did an album back in '99 which i think is absolute classic (clubber's guide to trance), he really picked out some great tunes for that compilation. |

| I only like remixes of his work. Such as the X Cabs Remix of "Don't Stop" and Matt Darey remix of "9 PM". The M.O.R.P.H Remix of "Marrakech" is also very good. Don't like any of his original work I've heard and "Hold U" is one of the most horrible tracks ever IMO. |
